Skiing for beginners in Lech am Arlberg

The Oberlech Ski School is located right in-front of the BURG and has its own children’s ski school and child-care for children aged approx. 3 years and over. Experienced skiing and snowboarding instructors provide the required expertise to ensure the children can have fun in the snow. Perfect for families.

Skiing for advanced skiers and professionals

Many Olympic winners and world champions took their first ski steps out on the slopes of the Arlberg. Advanced skiers have access to over 30 red descents in the ski resort around Lech-Zürs with a wide range of difficulty ratings on offer. The area around Zürs in particular offers some of the most attractive routes in this category.

5 challenging routes and 13 medium-difficult routes also present a further challenge in addition to the black Sonnenberg descent on the western slope down to Zürs. Those with excellent skiing ability can tackle the Speed Check route. This measures your top speed on a stretch of track - set off, get into the squat position and read your speed on the display panel. Similarly the Arlberg is also an unrivalled paradise for freeriders. And those seeking an adrenaline rush will find that the Arlberg is the only place in Austria to offer heli-skiing trips.
