Mountain bikers will find enough routes in the surrounding mountains for a cycling week or a cycling weekend on the Arlberg. Secure your time out on two wheels.
Short but hard. The route to the 2,000 metre high Kriegersattel seems easy at just under 13 kilometres. But even the ascent will take it out of you with several steep sections boasting gradients of up to 24 percent. At the top, the fantastic view of the Arlberg region around Lech and the nature reserve is a delight. After a refreshment break in the Kriegeralpe, it’s down to the Zuger Tobel with a gradient of up to 25 percent and on to Lech via Zug. Still enough in the tank for the ascent to Oberlech?
