A considerate and sensible approach with available resources was and is the commandment we follow.

The Lucian family have been totally committed pioneers in this regard. Thus the decision was taken to establish a highly modern and environmentally friendly organic heating plant to provide the energy for Lech, on the experiences of the Lucian family, who installed the first "bio mass" plant to supply energy to the Burg Hotel and the Burg Vital Resort.

The innovative tunnel system, which links all Oberlech businesses, had its origins with Fridolin Lucian.

The latest family project points the way ahead for Oberlech: intensive work is under way on a biomass power and heat coupling plant, which will eventually provide Oberlech with "clean energy".
