By car to the Burg in summer

In summer you can reach the hotel directly by car. At the end of Lech (coming from Zürs) take the private road to Oberlech on the left.

You can park your car on the free parking spaces and garage at the hotel.

A little closer to heaven

Here in Oberlech we are spoiled with more hours of sunshine throughout the year than almost any other place in the region. A snow-white fairytale world far away from traffic noise awaits you in winter. In summer the mountains turn lush green, full of fragrant flowers and herbs.

Let go completely for once? Gladly. We take care of people so that they don’t have to worry about a thing.

Important information: arriving in winter

Please note that the Lech-Warth route is closed during the winter season. This means that Lech is not directly accessible via Warth, even if a navigation device or GPS indicates otherwise. You can only get to Lech via Zürs – on the Arlberg Schnellstraße S 16 expressway.

Once you arrive in Lech, please drive to the ''Anger'' car park and follow the green park-guidance system to the new Welcome Area Oberlech. Our employees take care of your luggage and will send it up to Oberlech. Please follow the park-guidance system backto the car park where you can park your car.

We have our own parking spots in the Anger underground car park at a price of €28 per day. Entry is only possible via number plate recognition. We therefore ask you to reserve a garage space at the same time as your room at the Burg and include your car registration number.

With the mountain cable car to the Burg

A highlight of the journey: from December to April, the Oberlech adventure starts with a cable car ride. The Lech-Oberlech mountain railway takes you and your luggage up to Oberlech every day from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

It goes without saying that we’ll do whatever we can for you: you can get your cable car tickets from the Oberlech information desk opposite the valley station. Your luggage will be transported to the Burg Hotel. Ideally, your luggage should have your name on it so that we can bring it directly to your holiday home.

Fun fact: Oberlech has a tunnel for transporting luggage and goods. We owe that to our founder and visionary Fridolin Lucian.

From the airport to us by shuttle service

Flying into Vorarlberg? The nearest airport is Zurich. From Zurich Airport to Lech and back in the comfortable buses of our partner ARLBERG EXPRESS. We will be happy to make seat reservations for you. Alternatively, we can organise your private transfer from the airport in comfortable limousines and minibuses or by helicopter.

By train and bus to Lech

Do you love train travel? Then travel by train to the highest express train station in Europe, Langen am Arlberg. From the train station, the Postbus or a taxi will take you to Zürs/Lech am Arlberg. The local bus runs from Lech Rüfiplatz to Oberlech in summer. Alternatively, take the gondola, which runs from 08:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon and from 12:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in summer.

In winter, only the mountain railway runs from Lech to Oberlech.
