The Burg Appartements combine privacy with the full service of a 5-star hotel. They are located approximately 200 metres from the main building in a quiet setting – yet guests are directly connected to the hotel in any weather via a footpath and through Oberlech's underground tunnel system. All apartments feature their own kitchenette as well as a large south-facing balcony with mountain views. The apartment building also has its own private spa area with sauna, steam bath, and infrared heat cabin. Breakfast and dinner are served in the Burg Hotel's restaurant. This combination of a private retreat and full hotel service is the central unique selling point.

Oberlech is a car-free village in winter, situated at 1,650 metres above Lech am Arlberg. The underground tunnel system connects the buildings and accommodations of the village with one another – including the Burg Hotel and the Burg Appartements. For guests of the Burg Appartements, this means: despite the spatial distance of approximately 200 metres to the main building, they can reach all hotel facilities – restaurants, wellness area, bar – at any time of day or night, in snowfall, rain, or storm, without stepping outside. The tunnel system is an infrastructural unique feature of Oberlech that exists in this form in no other ski resort in the Alps.

There are four Burg Appartements, all named after mountain lakes in the region:

• Appartement Maiensee – 60 m², 1–3 adults | 1–3 children
• Appartement Spullersee – 60 m², 1–2 adults | 3–4 children
• Appartement Butzensee – 48 m², 1–2 adults | 2–3 children
• Appartement Formarinsee – 48 m², 1–2 adults | 2–3 children

All four feature a separate bedroom and living area with a south-facing balcony and a kitchenette. Maiensee and Spullersee additionally have an open fireplace and a separate WC.

Yes, all Burg Appartements feature a kitchenette. It gives guests flexibility for in-between meals, breakfast on their own south-facing balcony, or light evening snacks – a particularly practical advantage for families with children. Breakfast and dinner are included in the stay and served in the Burg Hotel's restaurant, which is easily accessible via the tunnel system and the footpath. The kitchenette therefore does not replace the hotel's dining offering, but rather complements it with a private component for complete flexibility.

The private spa comprises a sauna, a steam bath, and an infrared heat cabin. In addition, all guests have access to the Burg Hotel's 1,550 square metre wellness area. For even more relaxation, the Burg Oase also offers an extensive selection of massages and beauty treatments

Breakfast and dinner are included in the stay as part of the half-board arrangement and are served in the Burg Hotel's restaurant.

The Burg Appartements are especially designed for three categories of guests:

Families with children: The apartments offer generous space (48–60 m²), cots and comprehensive baby equipment upon request, a kitchenette for in-between meals, and a private setting away from the bustle of the main hotel. The Appartement Spullersee, for example, accommodates 2 adults and up to 4 children.

Couples: The apartments are ideal for romantic stays with privacy.

Guests who wish to combine hotel luxury with apartment freedom: The kitchenette, the separate bedroom and living area, the private spa area, and the seclusion combined with full hotel service make the Burg Appartements a hybrid accommodation that is rarely found in this form.

Yes, all four Burg Appartements feature a south-facing balcony. The southerly orientation ensures optimal sunlight and views of the mountain landscape surrounding Lech am Arlberg.

Maiensee and Spullersee (60 m² each) feature an open fireplace and offer more space at 60 m² each. Butzensee and Formarinsee (48 m² each) are somewhat more compact.

The key difference: guests looking for more space and an open fireplace should choose Maiensee or Spullersee. Those seeking a more compact apartment at a lower entry price are well served by Butzensee or Formarinsee. The core amenities – private spa, kitchenette, south-facing balcony, hotel connection, and half board – are identical across all four.

Yes. All Burg Hotel facilities are fully available to guests of the Burg Appartements: restaurants and dining rooms, the Eisbar No. 1, the Burg Schenke, the hotel's own wellness area, as well as all activity offerings and events. Access is via a footpath or, weather-protected, through the underground tunnel system – making access comfortable at any time of year or day, particularly in winter during snowfall.

The Burg Appartements are located in Oberlech, the car-free district of Lech am Arlberg at 1,650 metres altitude, directly within the Lech Zürs am Arlberg ski area – one of the most renowned ski areas in Austria and the Alps. For guests of the Burg Appartements, this means ski-in/ski-out, as the slopes are right on the doorstep and the ski room is located within the Burg Appartement building.
