FROM KAISERSCHMARRN TO CELERY JUICE

There is no greater luxury than starting the day with a completely relaxed breakfast just the way you like it. In typical Burg fashion we have turned our long-held vision into a delicious reality. As part of our restaurant renovations, we have completely reimagined breakfast itself. Breakfast is now served with exquisite architecture, a new juice room, and many long-desired delicacies. All that's left to say is: ''raise your coffee cups to happy tasting and a wonderful early feast!'' 

FIVE BREAKFAST TYPES, À LA BURG 

01 KAISERSCHMARRN CONNOISSEURS
Their love for Kaiserschmarrn is likely stronger than Emperor Franz Joseph's legendary fondness of it. Nothing less than fluffy pastry with raisins, applesauce and plum compote will ever make it onto their plate. When push comes to shove, a good plan B is waffles or croissants with lots of jam. 

02 LIQUID BREAKFASTERS
The name ''liquid breakfaster'' sounds stranger than their actual behavior. They're apt to reach for a flass of Prosecco - but above all, it means no solid food passes your lips. They say no to bread and eggs but yes to coffee and juices - preferably freshly squeezed. 

03 MEAT LOVERS
They don't just love crispy bacon for breakfast, they crave anything hearty, juicy, and preferably with a hint of fat: sausages, bavarian meatloaf, roast pork. Yes, we're still talking about the first meal of the day. As a side dish? Eggs, beans, and potatoes ... yes, please. 

04 SWEET AND SOURS 
Croissant with liverwurst and Nutella with cucumber? These aren't necessarily the signs of pregnancy but sweet and sour personalities like to mix and match flavors - sweet and sour, salty, bitter and even umami. The hardliners among them like to combine as many flavors together into one bite. 

05 FLAKE WHISPERERS 
The flake whisperers are found anywhere near anything you can mix into a cereal bowl: from oat flakes to spelt flakes to coconut flakes, from prunes to flaxseeds. They like to combine it all with conventional yogurt or plant-based milk. Another big hit? Homemade chia pudding.
