17 - 19 April 2020
Each year when the winter season is coming to a close, our guests look forward to skiing in the sun, cosy après-ski hours and the legendary spring festival on the Oberlech Plateau.
From 29 March until 13 April 2020, the legendary Tanzcafé Arlberg Music Festival will take place in and around Lech am Arlberg for the eighth time, with dancing, singing and laughing – and the BURG in Oberlech joins in the fun.
When the Winter Countdown begins on the Arlberg and spring comes knocking at the door, the annual dance fever breaks out in Lech Zürs: it's time for the Tanzcafé Arlberg Music Festival! As before, 2020 will again see whole days of jazz, swing, boogie-woogie and rock 'n' roll. The absolute highlight? Well, if you ask us, we'd have to say it's the party here at the Burg Hotel!
A deluxe spot with the best wines from all over the world.
The 4-star Burg Hotel in Oberlech has been THE number one destination for wine lovers from all over the world for decades. No wonder, considering that Gerhard Lucian, the owner of the establishment, passed his passion for good wine on to his son and junior chef Christian Lucian.
Unique and inspiring art event
Fantastic Gondolas will be inviting visitors to a unique art event from 29 to 30 November. Fantastic light projections and live music acts will transform our mountains into a work of art!
Wellness has always stood for relaxation, recuperation and well-being at the Burg Hotel. Now the Lucian Family has remodelled, refurbished and extended. Guests at the 4-star superior hotel can immerse themselves in the climate of the Himalayas as and when they wish, and even build snowmen on the Arlberg in summer.
Culture on the mountain: 3 to 8 August 2020
The Lech Classic Festival from 3 to 8 August 2020 is another success story in the Lech summer. Here the organisers bring classical music closer to the summer guests. The audience is, according to the organisers, the sovereign, whose interest they want to wake and who they want to lead to classical music.’
Win an evening meal with the Norwegian ski racer Henrik Kristoffersen at the Burg Hotel Oberlech am Arlberg.
He has already participated in several Winter Olympics and countless world championships. His skills have been recognised with silver, gold and bronze medals. Slalom and Giant Slalom are two of his best disciplines. We're talking about Henrik Kristoffersen.
And together with the glove manufacturer Reusch, we are offering you the chance to spend some time with the successful winter sportsman here at the BURG. Meet the man himself, ask him some questions, receive some individual tips – and enjoy our culinary highlights at the same time.
Carnival Party 2019 at the BURG: Tales from the Arabian Nights – lavish fancy dress party on Shrove Tuesday
It's that time of year again, and – as usual – the legendary Lech Carnival Party will be taking place at the BURG am Arlberg! This year, the themed party promises to be orientally, hugely fabulous, because it's time for some "Tales from the Arabian Nights".
The walk-in work of art by James Turrell on the Arlberg
A plain room, an elliptical opening, a largely underground walk-in work of art. Right in the middle of Lech, just a few minutes from the BURG, is the Vorarlberg's latest attraction. And for it, we owe a debt of thanks to none other than the internationally renowned American artist James Turrell. He has created a very special spot here, at 1780 metres above sea level. The idea behind it? "Seeing yourself seeing."
Three cheers for loyalty!
The Lucian family is very proud of its members of staff who have been with them for a long time, and who have devoted themselves and their abilities to the family hotel with such commitment.
