This year, we held the BURG Golf Trophy at the Lech Golf Course for the first time. Guests and friends were able to play golf before an impressive mountain backdrop with the support of professional golfer Niki Ferrari.
Golf is about being modest and humble. But playing the beautiful game before an imposing mountain backdrop quickly allows people to find their own centre. At this year’s BURG Golf Trophy, our guests and friends played at the golf course in Lech for the first time.
The beautiful game made tricky
The new 9-hole golf course is situated in the direction of Zug and challenges golfers to tackle some tricky swings. It might be “tricky” here and there – but definitely not boring! The Lech golf course requires a precise game and provides golfers with multiple opportunities to cross the river. Renowned professional golfer Niki Ferrari was present during the Trophy and shared some tips and tricks. Playing golf at Austria’s highest altitude golf course was a truly spe- cial experience for many. “It was fantastic, even though I didn’t always play as I would have liked,” laughed one guest during the gala evening at the end of the golfing week.
