During the ‘Arlberg Vineyard’ gourmet fair, the Burg Hotel will be welcoming top winegrowers Constantia Glen (South Africa) and Bodega Norton (Argentina) to the Burg Hotel on 5 December 2016.
“I will gladly explain what they have to do with Austria on this evening,” says Christian Lucian who manages the Burg wine cellar’s 50,000+ bottles of wine.
Roots in Austria This much is already clear: the history of Constantia Glen started out in Austria. The grandfather of the vineyard owner Dr. Alexander Waibel was Austrian and Bodega Norton in Argentina also has Austrian roots. Bodega Norton was created by the Austrian entrepreneur Gernot Langes Swarovski. His son, Michael Halstrick, is responsible for the destiny of the wine cellar today. Norton sets the standard and is a leader in the export of quality wines from Argentina. For more information and table reservations, please ask at reception.
